Do I need an appointment?

Yes — call first. It's a one-man bench, so I book time for each machine rather than running a waiting room. One call usually gets you in same or next day.

How long does a computer repair take?

Usually same or next business day, depending on the job. Call with the symptoms and I'll give you a realistic window for your machine.

Do you charge for estimates?

No. Estimates are free on most repairs, and you also get a cost-first analysis — what the repair runs against what a comparable new machine would cost. More on repair time and cost.

What computers do you work on?

All makes and models — Windows PCs and Macs, laptops and desktops. Virus removal, tune-ups, hard drive replacement, screen repair, power and charging faults, Windows reinstalls, data backup, and custom builds.

Do you repair phones?

No — computers only.

Can you recover files from a dead drive?

I do first-level recovery and diagnostics in-house. If a drive needs a cleanroom I'll tell you and refer you out rather than charging you to find out. More on data rescue.
